Gaudy Welsh pitcher in a beautiful design much like an early theorem painting with a lovely basket of flowers. This is an early example, most likely Mason's dating to the early 1800's It is not a later Allerton's example. It is clean and t is very little wear no chips, hairlines or cracks and the colors are very bright. The copper luster design is also in very good condition. This has almost a pearlware or flow blue effect with the cobalt running in the glaze. It measures 6 1/2" high and holds three cups of liquid with room to spare.
