Lustrous Edwardian Necklace of Graduated Black Facetted Beads
- Source: Tias
This 16 ¼" long strand of facetted black glass beads has an elegant graduated style. Sometimes called "French Jet," black glass beads were quite popular from the late 19th century right into the 1920s. This necklace's largest bead is 5/8" in width. The rhodium-plated clasp is the newer spring-ring style suggesting the beads were restrung (all the better for peace of mind). The lustrous beads are in great condition and lend an authentic turn-of-the-century accent!
