M1 Garand Walnut Stock Marked SA EMcF WWII ?

WWII? Walnut M1 Garand Stock

Although this stock appears to be an old M1 Garand stock, I believe it to be a replacement stock made out of birch. It has a very interesting color pattern to it and is in overall good shape. It shows the signs of being sanded, and t is the SA over EMcF in a box. I could not find the ordnance mark, so I am listing this as a possible "re-stamp" marking. If I'm wrong, then you'll probably get a really good deal on this item. You'll have to judge for yourself!

With that being said, the stock is in pretty good shape with no cracks, but t are several of the usual dings and dents associated with battle use. The toe has been sanded and t is some overhang of the butt plate in that area. It has plenty of life left in it and will work well to take to the range while you save your good collectable wood!

Please look over the pictures and ask questions before bidding as all sales are final. I am NOT a Garand collector so you need to be your own judge!

As for eBay, this is not a functioning firearm! It is merely a piece of wood from WWII!
