Madewell .15 Ignition Engine 1940 (#513)

This auction is for a Madewell ignition modelairplane engine of .147 displacement. Madewell Manufacturing Co. of Oakland, CA manufactured this engine in 1940. “Madewell is cast/stamped on the bypass. It has been mounted and run.

Ted has many engines that are prototype and/or one of a kind. It is difficult for us to know for sure whether the engine is a prototype or has replica parts on it.
