Marantz Model 7 Stereo Console Tube Preamp (No Reserve)

Up for bid, in this NO RESERVE AUCTION, is a quality original vintage Marantz Model 7 Stereo tube preamp, made in the1960s. This is not a reissue, this is an original 1960s Marantz Model 7. It has been stored in a dry clean environment and powers on without difficulty. Before storage, it worked great. Since I pulled it out to put up for auction, I have plugged it in and powered it up. The light comes on immediately. This is the only recent test that has been done to it since using it ten years ago. Marantz Model 7 is considered the finest preamp ever manufactured. This preampuses 6 12AX7 tubes. This preamp was built with the most care and quality. It was hand made, point to point wiring, using the very best parts, some military specifiaction, available. Most of the vintage Marantz tube equipment out there is still working, a testament to the excellent design, excellent parts, excellent craftsmanship and quality control. Marantz Model 7 has inputs for microphone, phono1, phono2, tape head, AM/FM, FM Multiplex, TV, auxillary, selector channel B, A+B, A, stereo, stereo reverse, volume and balance, tape monitor switch, phono equalizer-old78/RIAA/old CL LP, low frequency filter-50/flat/100, high frequency filter-9kc, 5kc, separate bass and treble controls for both channels, power lamp and power switch.
