Margot de Taxco Chunky Sterling Silver Bracelet 1950s

This Solid Sterling Silver Margot de Taxco Bracelet belonged to a friend of ours, and that is how we came to know it's story. Originally, it had a Zodiac Charm attached to it. The charm was given to someone else, and the ring that it was attached to was removed. So, what you have left, is a very Handsome, Well Made bracelet that bears ONLY the eagle assay mark (16), and the design #5233. The other identifying hallmarks are on the Zodiac Charm. Surely, t is someone out t who would like an authentic Margot bracelet to go with their Margot zodiac charm. It would not be a big deal for a silver smith to solder a ring back on. Even, if no effort were made to put this great bracelet back to it's origin, it's good to go, and a Fabulous piece in it's own right. Notice how the vertical links that lay against your wrist are Half Round, so that it lays properly on your skin. Also, see how the Clasp is part of the link design. Check out the Safety Chain.

This 3-Dimensional Bracelet measures 8 1/2" long x 5/8" wide x 3/8" high. It's Heavy, weighing in at 77.1 gms. Over 2 1/3oz. It's very Comfortable, and feels wonderfully Substantial.
