The Crisis Center is a non-profit United Way agency in Birmingham, Alabama. Since 1970, the Crisis Center has been responding to individuals in crisis by providing comprehensive services that result in healing, improved mental health, positive life relationships and overall well-being. A United Way agency, the Crisis Center is a 501c 3 non-profit agency that operates 7 programs. These include our Crisis & Suicide Hotline; Rape Response; Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program; Kid's Help Line; Teen Link; Senior Talk Line; and the Mental Health Association. We have over 200 volunteers who participate in these programs. The Crisis Center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. We have been selling on Ebay since 2000, and have a 100% positive feedback rating from over 8,000 unique Ebay buyers. We are conducting a special auction of uniforms and firesuits to raise money for one of our programs, Piper Place, which is a day rehabilitation program for adults who have a serious mental illness. This is a vintage TEXACO HAVOLINE Racing sign featuring Mario Andretti and Davey Allison. These were made to display in service stations and car parts stores, and is made of a cardboard type material. It measures 12.5" x 23.5". Mario autographed the sign with a black Sharpie sign. It is not signed by Davey. It is in very good condition. . . only
