For many years he maintained a studio in Willits, California. While his studio was located in Willits, he spent up to 4 months each year painting the landscapes and seascapes of the Monterey Peninsula. An impressionist painter, he specialized in oil renditions of the California coast. His works compare favorably with those of Bennett Bradbury and Alexander Dzigurski. During his career he exhibited at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, the Mendocino County Fair, the Artist's Guild of America in Carmel, California, the Los Gatos Art Association, and various Galleries on the Monterey Peninsula and in Northern California. In 1955 he presented his works in a solo exhibition at the Artist's Guild of America Gallery in Carmel. In the 1950's he moved his studio to the Los Gatos, California area. He was a member of the Artist's Guild of America and the Los Gatos Art Association, among others. For a period of several years in the mid to latter part of the 1950's he served as the Vice President of the Los Gatos Art Association. His works
