This is a beautiful Mason's bowl in the Vista pattern. The shape is triangle and t is a dragon head at each corner. This is a most unusual bowl. I have never seen another one like this. The bowl measures 11 1/2 inches on each of the three sides from the tip of the dragon's nose to the next. It is three inches tall to the top of the dragon's head. It really is quite large and looks stunning. This is a very special piece. T are no chips or cracks - t is slight crazing as I think this bowl may be quite old. I am not an expert but I think the stamp on the bottom is older. T are two spots on the bottom that are about 3/4 of an inch oval that have no glaze. T are also a couple of spots on the main pattern in the middle that have tiny bubbles that have been glazed over. I think this must have come this way from the factory. This is from my personal collection - I am not an antique dealer. I have been collecting red transferware for years and always just bought what I thought was beautiful. I will be moving for the 3rd time in two years and just don't want to pack everything up one more time. I will be selling a hundred or so pieces of red transferware over the next few weeks - Spode, Johnson Bros, Woods & Sons etc. so check my other listings and come back often as I will try to list every day.
