This gorgeous European vase, most likely made during the height of the Art Nouveau period between 1895 and 1910, has the experts stumped. Professional opinions have included all of the makers listed above. One thing for certain is that this vase (and its matching twin) are incredible examples from a bygone era, when handmade works of art like these, were created by skilled craftsman. The glaze is highly iridescent and shows spectral color changes. This vase has more rust, and yellows and orange than its twin. The surface is highly crazed and in excellent condition. The second vase pictured in the last photo, is also up for auction, but not for sale Size: a proud 5" tall Condition: this piece has no cracks, no chips and no restorations. Some pitting to the glaze from the factory firing on the exterior and interior.
