Up for your consideration are these 3 matching rare antique Victorian cast iron G.L.C. Gilbert Lock Co. mortise locks, Newark, NJ, Patented 1877. The face plates are solid brass. The lock measurements are: The dustbox dimensions are 3 5/8 by 3 1/4 by 5/8 of an inch. The face plate is 5 1/8 by 7/8 of an inch. The backset (the front edge of the face plate to the center of the doorknob lever) is 2 1/2 inches. The spacing ( the center of the doorknob lever to the circular part of the keyhole) is 1 3/4 inches. They are in good condition with old paint on the face plates.
