1930's McCoy vase~~Very RARE form! A HNH "Finders Keepers" Piece. Can be referenced in the HNH Vol. 3 p. 113 Finders Keepers section. This stoneware vase is "One of the most sought after vases of this era". The color is an Experimental or Non Production Test Piece. The glaze is a plum/mauve brown shade! It looks like a white or lavendar glaze (all factory) is on top of the "usual brown & green" which gives the vase a plum/mauve hue. I have a photo of this vase next to the usual brown/green combo to show the unusual variation. It is hard to capture on photos. The usual brown has a rusty tint to it. This vase is heavy and measures approx. 7" high and 9" wide. There is no post production damage. No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. There are very few of the usual McCoy factory flaws... I have taken pictures of every angle...Please be sure to look at all and be sure to supersize for best detail! There is some writing on the bottom of vase and it could be related to the unusual glaze combination but I'm not sure. An Amazing piece of McCoy!! I have collected McCoy pottery for over 20 years and this is definately one of the top pieces I have ever seen/owned. Feel free to ask questions!! Check my 100% feedback and . Take a look at my other McCoy items listed this week. I only ship within the U.S...No international bidders
