Medieval Knights/or Crusader Silver Ring "Agnus Dei" Fabulous Medieval Knights/Crusader silver ring consisting of a solid band rounded from the outside and ending in wider decorated shoulders. The large octagonal bezel with worked out crest engraved with the Agnus Dei, the lamb of God with halo holding a cross. The other part of the crest with the incised inscription DEO DUCE (God my guide). Both sides of the crest with each two engraved double crosses. The Crusades were a series of military campaigns of a religious character waged by much of Christian Europe against external and internal opponents. Crusades were fought mainly against Muslims , though campaigns were also directed against pagan Slavs , Jews , Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians , Mongols , Cathars , Hussites , and political enemies of the popes .
