Microscope Slides: 19thC by Charles Pumphrey various

These ten microscope slides are by Charles Pumphrey who operated in Birmingham, England during the 1860s and 1870s. He is mentioned in Bracegirdle's book and was noted as an excellent mounter of microscope slides. These slides are of various subjects, very clean, clearly labelled and in good condition. The deep cell one which has not scanned very well reads 'Peristome of Funaria, with Capsule, Calyptra, and Operculum'.
