Just acquired out of a Private Midwest estate, we are able to offer this "FINE QUALITY" early 1900's era ~ MINIATURE CHELSEA CLOCK CO. BOSTON BALL FEET BRASS CLOCK ~ This little clock measures 5 inches tall by 4 7/8 inches wide by 2 inches deep and it has a 2 3/4" dial. This is not a real common size Chelsea clock to find. The clock is running and working just fine. It has been tucked away for such a long time in the estate, I would imagine a cleaning and servicing would not be a bad idea. The over all condition is really quite nice as you will see. The dial is in exceptionally nice all original condition. The patina on the brass is original and untouched as well. I do see one little screw missing on the bottom mahogany cover. It even still has the original paper label on the bottom as well as the serial number impressed in the mahogany wood. It has what looks like a service date of 6-3-1920 "little hard to read" inscribed on the bottom, so it may very well be a little earlier than the 1920's era we originally thought. This would make a fine addition to your Chelsea maritime brass clock collection. Being sold as found so PLEASE FEEL FREE to email me for more pictures you may need or for questions you may have and I will be happy to help!
