Excellent piece! Hello. I have a MINT WWII M1 garand bayonet made by Springfield Armory in 1913 and cut and reissued in WWII. It is a MINT refurbish but I would estimate that it was minty before the factory workover. It has the coveted "bowie style" cut on the tip as shown, the original edge since the rework, 100% of the light grey finish that looks fantastic, no pitts, draw marks or problems at all. This is one of the finest reword bayonets i have yet to see! The blade is stamped US 553629 on one side and SA 1913 on the other. The guard is great as are the grips, slight storage and wear on the grips, no cracks or chips at all. This is one beautiful bayonet! the scabbard has the Pacific Dip, jungle green paint on the throat that has mostly worn off but the sheath is in fantastic condition as well with some light wear as shown in the pics, you will be extremely pleased with this bayonet, that is a guarantee!
