Minty, WW2, German, Army, NCO Sword with Scabbard by Eickhorn! This minty examples blade is marked "Eickhorn, SOLINGEN" and has the squirrel with sword logo. The sword and scabbard are marked "C.E./38" (Carl Eickhorn, 1938) and numbered "2223" and are matching. The blade rates almost mint with a few small, very faint stains(does not detract)! The sword and scabbard are both waffenamt marked. The black celluloid handle rates excellent with no cracks or chips and retains its brass twisted wire. The brass guard is tight on the blade and has been polished recently. The leather finger loop has been lost to time and is missing. The blued steel scabbard rates almost excellent with a very slight bend and shows some light pitting mostly at the drag. Overall, a minty Eickhorn Sword for your collection! NOTE: This item has no banned symbols and is not for sale to Germany.
