A pretty Mizpah brooch from the early 1900s. The term comes from the Bible where it says " may the Lord watch between thee and me when we are parted one from another Mizpah". This brooch is made of sterling silver and it carries Chester hallmarks for the early 1900s. It measures about 1 7/8 inches long or just under 5 cms. The decoration on the front is picked out in gold which looks good.
