Monark Silver king 26" hex-tube, aluminum frame bicycle. This is a model 47, serial number 0356341. The bicycle is being sold by its original owner. It has not been re-painted or otherwise altered with the exception of tires (which are currently not the proper width for the bike) and I believe pedals. From what I can tell this bicycle was purchased new in 1947. The chrome rims and some of the other chrome pieces have minor surface rusting and would probably need re-chroming. The light on the front fender is more heavily corroded, I believe from batteries being left in it for many years. The fenders still look pretty good with some minor scratching below the tail light. The frame is not bent and has what looks like some minor pitting. T are no pieces that I am aware of missing from the bicycle other than the original pedals. The bike has a back bookrack and a unique looking springer front end. Overall the bike is in average-good condition for an unrestored antique bike. I will work with buyer to determine the best means of shipping, shipping costs are at buyer's expense.
