This magnificent salt glaze stoneware dinner plate was made by Monroe Salt Works of Maine .In business since 1971, they are unfortunately no longer operating, making this exquisite piece a rare commodity ! The plate measures a substantial 11-1/2" in diameter. The pattern is called " Chippendale " and features a colorful detailed floral transfer on rich earthy stoneware. It is surrounded by a light brown band and Cornflower Blue outer rim. In wonderful condition, this piece is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Please note that shipping is a bit more, as the plate is quite substantial and heavy. This auction is for one plate.
