Welcome to my E-bay auction items.

Up for auction I am pleased to offer this fine pair of hand painted Victorian Courting Couple Bisque Porcelain Figurines. Circa 1940's.

They are made out of bisque porcelain and in wonderful overall condition. With no chips cracks or repairs. The bottom is stamped in red Morirama with the logo and under the logo reads made in Occupied Japan "Paulux" on the Male and the Female is also marked in red made in Japan.

They are both accented with raised beadwork and gold accents.

The male stands 13.25 inches tall and the base measures 4.00 inches by 3.50 inches. The female stands a little short and measures 12.75 inches tall and her base measures 4.00 inches by 3.25 inches.

The colors are soft with the hues of yellow. pink and blues. Both their shoes have bright gold.

The are a courting couple as he is playing his instrument. I have seen these mounted as lamps but our pair was use as decoration.
