This lot features the July 9th and September 3rd issues of Motion Picture Herald Magazine from 1932, which include large advertisements for William Powell with Kay Francis in Jewel Robbery, Maurice Chevalier with Jeanette MacDonald in Love Me Tonight, several large black and white photos from Grand Hotel with Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, and Lionel Barrymore; and a color section of short subject announcements for films starring Laurel and Hardy, Our Gang, and Charlie Chase. This lot also includes a theatre program from Brandt's-Carlton Jamaica (The New York Theatre Program Corp.,1931), which features articles and advertisements for upcoming plays, such as Dracula, The Ninth Guest, Doctor X, and others; and a color Spanish herald from The Lodger (20th Century Fox, 1944). Unrestored magazines, booklet, and herald with a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as slight spine and edge wear, small corner bumps, cover creases or scuffs, or very minor tears.
