This auction is for a pair of S&P shakers by Mueck & Carey Silver in their beautiful and highly collectible design. The Mueck & Carey company produced hollowware from 1900-1950 and believed to been taken over by Towle Silver Company. These shakers are clearly stamped with the Mueck & Carey hallmark and #067. These shakers stand 5" in high. Although these shakers are old, they look new, thanks to the silversmith. Condition EXCELLENT. No Dents. No Dings. The outside was clean and polish to expose any imperfection from use over many years while maintaining the interiority of the design and material. I enjoy old artifacts and what I really like is to use it. Tfore the inside of the shakers were also thoroughly cleaned to complement the true experience of using an aged set in like new condition. This is a rare set of shakers because of its mint condition which only required cleaning and very light polishing. Both shakers were photograph and immediately vacuum sealed in clear plastic for your examination and to protect during storage/shipping. Those of you into antiques, the bottoms were left in its original condition to help reflect and establish its true age.
