NANKING CARGO CUP DISH TEA BOWL SAUCER BOUGHT FROM CHRISTIES LOT NO 5108

This is an excellent Chinese Porcelain Nanking Cargo Saucer and Tea Bowl which dates to 1752.
They form part of the treasure from the sunken East India Company ship 'The Geldermalsen', which sank in the South China Sea in 1752. They both carry their original auction lot number (5108) on labels stuck underneath. Both are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The Saucer is 4 ¾ inches in diameter and the Cup is 2.5 inches in diameter. Bought from Christies.
