The blades of steel are made of 440 stainless or better,, if its a flint knapped blade it will be described below.for handles I mostly use mule and white tail but at times use a jaw bone or bison rib,,,,,no matter that type I only use good solid hard white bone. Nothing with cracks or chew marks. remember if it looks like snake skin then its real snake skin if it looks like antler then its real antler etc. etc.... i dont cut any corners. all the sheaths and leather work is 100% leather of two or more layers that have been hand sewn using a good old needle and 8mm or better waxed sewn or artificial horse hair.
