appx. 12x9", lot of 6 issues of NATURE MAGAZINE, published by AMERICAN NATURE ASSOCIATION, Washington DC, monthly, staple bound, 60/65 pp, some color inside, mostly profuse black and white illustrations, from vols 11, 14, issues include Jul 1929, May, Jun, Jul, Aug 1930 and Jan 1931, signed color covers including Kumm, Fry, JEX etc , in very good to excellent condition with no significant loss, damage or restoration. Two spines worn/damaged, other good, contents tight, few bends or tears. This was the premier popular nature magazine of the period. Many of the covers are strikng art deo and art nouveau style nature paintings. Contents go from astronomy to zoology and everything between. Tropical fish, exotic birds, flowers, glaciers, oceanography, American wild life sculptors, discovery of Pluto (ex-planet, not dog)--about 20+ articles per issue written by well known naturalists of the period.
