NC Pottery Bowl with distinctive Black/Brown Leathery looking glaze covering the red/ochre Carolina clay. The bowl is 6" in diameter, 2 3/4" high. The base is 3 3/4" diameter. It has 3 marks on the bottom of the bowl: An impressed mark reading: Carolina Pottery Candor, NC. .... and 2 black circle printed marks reading: Rainbow Pottery...Hand Made...Sanford, NC. The Rainbow Pottery Circle mark was used by A.R. Cole from 1934-1938. Carolina Pottery impressed mark was used in the 1920s and early 1930s.Payment: Paypal (preferred).
