Nez Perce Plateau Indian Double Sided Beaded Bag 1920s This bag is out of my grandfathers estate, he died in 1939. During the early 30's he was very involved with the Nez Perce and I presume that is when it came into his possession. It is truly a fantastic bag. It is completely done in faceted seed beads. One side has a elk with two daffodils, The other side has three tulips (??). The pink beads, I have been told, is a rear color. It has a double bail type handle. The top has a vintage looking, zipper. The inside is lined with a blue cotton cloth. T are three small spots that beads are missing. The worst is at the bottom of one of the handles, t is about ¾" of beads missing on both ends, some of these beads are in the bottom of the purse. The other spots are on the elk side and are two different small spots on the blue edge, w just a few beads are missing. None of these problems are great and only mentioned for accuracy. Condition is very good, nice solid piece, no problems besides the few missing beads. It measures, 7.75" tall X 8" across. Condition is very good, no cracks. Shipping weight is under, 2 pounds. This is a no reserve auction, high bidder takes it. Winner pays actual shipping cost. I have no hidden fees on my auctions. No packing or handling charges. Items selling for over $50.00, will need to pay for insurance. Under
