is a stunning set from Miller: a faux green jade and faux diamond necklace dubbed "Imperial" and a pair of "Cherished Heart" earrings, both from the Nolan Miller Glamour Collection.
This mint-condition set was purchased from QVC in 1998 and never worn. So it is in mint condition, in its original satin-lined velvet box, and with intact lifetime-warranty cards and purchase receipts.
Texas-born Miller is best known for being the costume/jewelry designer for the '80s hit TV series, "Dynasty". The wardrobe and accessories worn by actresses Joan Collins and Linda Evans in the show defined the big, over-the-top fashion of the decade. Miller also counts among his clients a "Who's Who" in Hollywood: Ann-Margret, Jane Seymour, Jaclyn Smith, Barbra Streisand, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor and Diahann Carroll.
The Imperial necklace is a chunky four-strand necklace with a carved jade glass and faux diamond pavé pendant. The oval pendant is 1 1/2" x 1 1/4", with a floral motif in the center. The floral panel has a thick rhinestone-encrusted border around it.
The beads in the necklace are hand-knotted in between. Necklace is 16" long x 1 1/2" wide. Has a thick chevron-shaped push-in closure.
