A beautiful and relatively rare mini bud vase decorated with a very collectible, much sought after Noritake pattern; an Art Deco rendition of a seventeenth century galleon. That pattern, decorated in deep vivid colors is off set by a shimmering tan background. Inside the vase one finds iridescent lustre. The vase measures 2.13" in diameter and is 4 3/8" in height. This exact piece is pictured in David Spain's books volume 4, page 204, plate V.487. The piece is in excellent overall condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites or repairs. There is a bit of thing glazing of the black trim on the top rim/opening of the vase. It is marked on the bottom with Noritake Made In Japan backstamp, (san serif J) in green, mark MIJ.0. White spots, if any, are camera glare.
