This 45 rpm single is from the vast collection of a successful Soul/R&B and Jazz radio disc jockey in Washington, D.C. during the period 1962-1970. He amassed a soul collection of more than 3,000 singles and now wants to sell-off a portion of his collection including duplicate copies. Each record was an original that he collected weekly during New Product Meetings at Washington's Schwartz Brothers Distributors as well as from smaller independent labels. He went to the Schwartz Brothers every Saturday morning at 8 AM (sometimes sleeping in the car after a night of hanging at the Howard Theater, to be sure he'd be there on time, and not miss getting the newest product).

On some occasions, they gave him two copies of a release (particularly those they considered "sure hits") but mostly just one copy. They were always brand new releases that arrived that week from the many hundreds of independent labels. He would play them once, at most, to see if he would add them to his play list. Then, they were just filed away, thus their amazing grading condition.
