In 1987 Northwest Orient Airlines made the decision to change their name back to Northwest Airlines. At that time they recalled their NW Orient 'Travel Agency' models to their MSP Hub and decided to auction them off. I was lucky enough to find out about the auction and headed to MSP. This DC 10-30 is one of those models. This 1:164 scale Resin model was made by Pacific Miniatures (now PACMIN). It is 13" long and has a wing span of 11.5". It has been on display in my temperature controlled airline memorabilia room for 20 years and is in excellent condition. It will be shipped in the original box. This is a rare and vintage model, a nostalgic reminder of the 40 years of when NW was called Northwest Orient Airlines!
