I'm pleased to present for bid today with No Reserve a beautiful Rare Antique unmarked Northwood Marigold Carnival Glass Tall Tankard Pitcher, Circa. 1910. The lovely tankard measures approximately 13" tall and 6-1/2" in diameter at the largest part. It's in very good condition; some minor oxidation in the bottom and one manufacture bubble burst in the base; nothing detrimental to its integrity and found only on very close examination, but I did want to mention. T is no chips or cracks. My research in the "Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass 7th Edition", Edwards & Carwile, 2001, indicates that Marigold was the first iridescent color used by Northwood, beginning in 1908; Dandelion pattern was sometimes marketed as "Sunflower". A wonderful, hard to find antique Northwood Tankard for the ardent collector! I've tried to show all in the photos; please do email if you have questions. Buyer pays shipping with insurance in the amount of $25.00; of course, local pickup is always welcome at no charge. I accept money orders, personal checks and credit cards at PayPal. Thank you for visiting my auction!
