For auction is a wonderful pottery pie funnel made in England by Nutbrown shaped like an elephant and finished in a creamy white glaze. The elephant's raised trunk acts the vent opening and is a definite sign of good luck that the pie will be delicious!!! The pie funnel measures approximately 3 ¼" in height and 3" in width. The bottom is marked Nutbrown Pie Funnel, Made in England Reg. No. 860928 (we believe these are the numbers - the last two are hard to read). The condition of this vintage pie funnel is excellent with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of our description. This pie funnel would make a wonderful addition to your collection of pie bird or pie funnel kitchen accessories or a unique and unusual addition to your collection of elephant figurines.
