Old oak Desk - well made and sturdy, circa 1950's - 60's ? The desk is 30 " high and 53 1/4" wide. The top is removable, which I have actually done (to get it out of the room!) and this then makes the width 51 ". This desk had been in my sewing room for 25 years and is now surplus to requirements. It would need sanding down and re-varnishing/waxing or painting. I have photographed the paint splashes on one of the panels in the kneehole, and also the top of the desk which has water marks and something else which could be pen - I honestly cant remember! The desk has two drawers on either side which are made with dovetail joints. A lovely old desk which should go on for another 25 years (at least!) Item is for collection from Walderslade, nr. Chatham, Kent. Thanks for looking! p.s I am also selling the swivel chair that I used to use with the desk if you are interested!
