Offered is an obsolete Inspector De Transito Sonora, Mexico, a hand cut heavy gold plated nickle eagle top shield with hand etching/engraving with an applied seal. There is the name W. W. Ackers, who was a Los Angeles County Department of Weights and Measures employee in the 1930s and 1940s. There is no hallmark and the straight safety pin is missing. This badge is obsolete, carries no peace officer authority, does not resemble a current law enforcement badge and is o ffered as a collectors item for display purposes only.
