Ogle Designed Aston Martin DBS V8 1972-3 Photographs by Roger Stowers

The Ogle Design Aston Martin DBS V8 -(1972-3)

These two photographs are copies from the negatives taken by the Aston Martin historian and archivist, the late Roger Stowers of the Ogle design Aston Martin DBS at the Newport Pagnell factory

Based on a DBS V8 chassis, the bodywork was constructed from glass fibre and above the waistline is totally formed from glass supported on a tubular frame of Reynolds 531 steel (as found on the very best bicycles at the time!)

The problem with the Ogle design that closely follows fashion, is that it can start to look outdated very quickly - it looks very 1970's.

- The photographs come with a detailed fact sheet on the background to the Ogle design DBS V8 -

There were only three actual cars produced.

The photographs measure 20 x 15 cm with mounts the whole measure 25 x 20 cm

Rare photographs of Aston Martin history items to grace your Office, Garage or Den.
