Offered without reserve is this very nice looking old antique telephone. The phone's base is marked: Western Electric, made in the USA, pat. in the USA , Jan 25, 1915. The receiver piece on the top is marked: property of the American Bell Telephone Company. This is the nicest antique telephone that I have ever had, it truly is a showy old phone that looks great on a table or shelf. The top sections look like brass as well as the hook that you would hang up the ear receiver on to. The candlestick section is painted black, naturally t is some wear from use but overall it looks fantastic. The bottom is covered with an old brown felt material, the chords are cloth covered wire. I think the ear and speaking receivers are made from bakelite, t are no chips or cracks on either. The phone stands approx. 11 1/2" tall and the base measures 5 1/4" across........................ ......
