It's A Virtual Treasure Hunt! Spend some time browsing through out store- you won't believe what we have! This is a VERY nice antique leather bible! Printed 150 years ago (1857) by the American Bible Society, and bound in HEAVY leather boards that have a beautiful embossed design on front and back, and with very nice gold guilded edges, this bible is a real piece of history. It is small in size, less than 4"x6", and has quite small print, on fine india paper. Includes a unique feature for the day- a marginal reference that tells the time period of the writings on each page, cross references to other verses, and added information about various words and phrases. Condition is very good for such an old bible. Usually bibles of this age fall victim to time which destroys the binding and the covers come off. But binding is great and the covers are still firmly attached with some cracking, but not bad at all. Gold edges are also very nice which is rare as well. I have a lot of antique bibles, and I think this is one of my favorites. But I have to reduce the size of my collection, so my loss is your gain. DON'T LET THIS CHANCE GET AWAY FOREVER!!!
