Old Chinese Jade Ink Well, Stamped Yamanaka, Archaistic
This beautiful, Chinese jade ink well has archaistic designs, including masks, animals, and geometric patterns in low relief carving. T is a chilong dragon finial on top. The interior, feet, and mounts are silver, with a stamp on the bottom of the lid, "YAMANAKA STERLING 04502/121". The interior of the lid is also finely engraved with decorative designs. The colors of the jade include white, lavender and green. Nice old polish. Circa early twentieth century.

Condition is good, possible recarving to one handle at top, stamped Yamanaka, beautiful colors and nice old polish, openwork to the finial and handles.
