You are bidding for a authentic old color lithographic with printed maker "Lith. by Witsch & Schmitt. 94 Bowery N.Y." and with TWO phantastic, nostalgic motives! Smaller picture is originally mounted on the left border. Both are titled "Hotspur - Fine Stock" and have small maker. Shows a cock in the center; bigger with decorative elements and a chicken on right side. See the red border from the smaller motive. Highly decorative OLD worthy LITHOGRAPHICS printing with much details in United States. Real lithographics which was printed from different stones (for each color one stone/print). Highly decorative examples from the american advertising industry for cigars/tobacco from the 19th century. Both are original numbered with the continuous numbers "686" + "687" in the corners; looks like specimens. Size is ca. 9x6,15" or ca. 22,8x15,6 cm and smaller motive ca. 4,5x4,5" or ca. 11,5x11,5 cm. Real rare and maybe the only examples which exist. Please excuse the bad photos; real the item looks much bether and have stronger colors. No modern printing type, they are true lithographics and they are old. See the typical art from this era and the lettering .
