Up for auction if a very handsome old oak mission style grandfather clock. It stands about 76 1/2" tall and is about 18" wide. From what I can gather, this clock was made around 1915 to 1920 or t abouts in Pennsylvania. I have not been able to narrow down the exact date or clock maker. I have looked at the clock mechanisms or works as closely as I can without taking it apart and have found no numbers, names, or dates. I have no experience working on clocks but, the parts all seem to be of good quality and condition for it's age. I can tell you that it is missing it's weights and may need one more chain, other than that I have no idea what it may take to get it going again. It does have a hammer and bong type chime that radiates a nice sound. This clock was painted red some time ago but it is solid oak underneath. This will be for pick up only. The clock is located in Smithfield KY 40068. I am home most evenings 5 pm or after and home on weekends. Your are more than welcome to come by and take a look at it before bidding. The winning bidder will be required to pick up no later than 7 days after the auction ends unless other arrangements are made. I will consider delivering if local. Cash will be due upon pick up. Please email email with any questions and I will do my best to answer. Thanks for looking!
