Welcome to The Mexican Silver Shop Specializing in Vintage Mexican, Peruvian, Native American Silver and Related Objects ...big bold cuff..... I offer to you a quite remarkable and early sterling silver Taxco clamper cuff bracelet, circa 1940. This cuff bracelet uses a classic motif of prickly pear cactus wrapping all along the bracelet. The ground behind the cactus is darkly oxidized to really make the design pop. The bracelet features graceful "wings" at the front that arc up and down the wrist and forearm. The hinge is tight and the bracelet snaps back with authority when opened. This is quite a stunning piece of jewelry; bold and beautiful. Hallmark : E.D.P. 925 Hecho en Mexico Taxco Gro. Sterling Size: Inner Circumference When Closed: 6 1/2" - keep in mind that this is a clamper style with a tension hinge, so the bracelet can be left slightly open for a bigger wrist, or pushed up on the forearm for a smaller wrist; Height Top to Bottom at Front: 3 5/8" Condition: Excellent vintage - some minor bumps along the edge - one a little more noticeable in the front, but blending in with the hand wrought nature of the piece 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 9783 Click on the small thumbnail picture surrounding the larger picture to see another view in the center.
