Opportunity Lot 8 Blacksmith Tinsmith Hammers Metalworking Rounding Cutting

For your consideration is this group of eight blacksmithing or metal working hammers.
Here is a brief description of each starting from left to right in the first photograph above:
1. Punch type hammer. Several chips to the perimeter of the larger striking face. The smaller "punch" end measures about 1/2 X 5/8 inch.
The distance across the hammer head is about 7 1/8 inches. Overall length is about 13 1/4 inches as measured along the handle. I installed
a new hardwood handle and it is firmly affixed to the hammer head. Could be hand forged?
2. Double faced hammer marked "O. KNIGHT BALTO" in four places. (See photo) The striking faces measure about 1 1/8 X 1 1/8 inch. The distance
from striking face to striking face is about 5 5/8 inches. Overall length is about 12 3/4 inches as measured along the handle. I made a handle for
this hammer from a broken shovel handle which gives a nice flair to the end of the handle. Here again the handle is firmly affixed to the hammer head.
3. Another "punch" type hammer. This hammer is unusual in that the punch end is skewed. It's not like a straight peen or a cross peen but in between.
I tried to capture this in the photographs. Distance from end to end on hammer head is about 7 1/2 inches. Overall length is about 13 1/2 inches as
measured along the handle.
