Orig 1932 Catalog Deck Plan NYK Lines Chichibu Maru NR

Outstanding and rare 1932 brochure and deck plan for the N.Y.K. Lines (Nippon Yusen Kaish) for the M.S. Chichibu Maru is so very graphic and loaded with great photos of their interiors along with the deck plan.Measures 10 1/4" x 10 3/4" and opens to 10 1/4" x 21 1/4" and opens again to 10 1/4" x 42 3/8 and finally to 30 1/2" x 42 3/8" Coded "50m, Oct., 1932 Shueisha Printing Co., Tokyo, Japan". In near mint condition except a 3/4" tear at top edge that I just did with no mildew or storage odors.

I will be listing many more early airline and railroad and ocean liner brochures over the next months so consider combining to save on shipping. These came from the same estate of a woman who owned an old travel agency and she kept one of each piece form all the time she had the agency and all were stored properly.

Packing: When shipping paper items, they are protected by plastic bag and placed between 2 pieces of cardstock and placed inside a priority mail flat rate or a manila envelope. Additionally, a note saying "Please Do Not Bend" is written in marker on the envelope. All items that are boxed go individually in plastic bags, are wrapped in newspaper with newspaper packing all around in stiff cardboard boxes.
