Original 1800's Kerosene Bicycle Lamp 'The Neverout'

'The Never Out' Kerosene Bicycle Lamp
These lamps had numerous uses in the early 1800's through the 20th century. They were used for lighting homes, and barns, to light horse drawn carriages, on ships, railroad cars, and even early automobiles .
This lamp is in excellent overall condition with little to no wear or tear. 1 small indentation on right side of lamp, which can be seen in picture 3. The lamp does show minor surface smudges, fingerprints, and light surface scratches and
could use an overall light cleaning and polish. Lens is clear, no chips or specks, but does need a cleaning door on front of lamp opens and shuts without issue. All lettering and logos are clean and clear. Faceted jewels in excellent condition, do show some residue on inside. The interior of lamp shows normal light wear/residue from use. The wick can be turned up slightly by ridged crank on outer right side. The interior of top cap shows ash/smoke residue and will need a thorough cleaning .
