If you're a 'Jeep nut', militaria fan, commercial art afficicianado, or just like a handsome painting, this big rendering for the Willys CJ-3A Owner's manual is just for you! The jeep is painted on paper which has a white painted ground or under layer and including it's thick cardboard backing, measures 23" wide and 18" high and features a wonderfully detailed artist's rendering of the 3rd Jeep model offered on the civilian market after WW2. The Jeep pictured is the 3/4 rear, less top configuration, appropriately painted a military style khaki color. The detail speaks of very well executed 'photo-realism'. The painting still retains a small portion of it's original tissue overlay protector. The original heavy poster paper cover is mostly intact though separated from the painting backing. The painting and paper that it's on is just about perfect, the backing board has bumped corners and most of the protective tissue is gone. The cover has some official company stamps and designations and the title, written in pencil, "Vehicle 3/4 Rear, Less Top Parts List & Owner's manual". In small print below appears, "Also used in 1945-50 MPL (manufacturer's parts list?). The bottom border line and title. CJ-3A Owner's Manual, is professionally painted in red.
