Up for auction is an original 1950's Moss lucite lamp. It has a three way switch at the top, and a separate switch that lights the base and makes the figurine rotate. Everything works on the lamp. T is some hesitation with the spinner, but it does rotate. I'm sure the mechanism could be cleaned. The lamp measures 38 inches tall to the top of the finial, and about 12 inches wide. I will remove the harp for shipping. T are no cracks in the lucite, but it does need a good cleaning. T are two clear lucite support pillars to the side of the figure that run from the lucite base to the top piece. They have come unglued (see photo),at the top,but are still solidly connected at the base. Could use a touch of glue, or looks fine as is. You have to get down at eye level to notice it. The figure is beautiful, and in excellent condition. Feels like bisque, with an unglazed black finish, and she has a great deal of gold trim. Just stunning. It does not have a shade, so I am selling it with no reserve. I know that t are people that make retro shades so I know you will not have a problem getting one. Due to the fragile nature of this lamp, I will have it professionally packed. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. I have some great mid century furniture this week, so please take a few minutes to browse my other auctions. Thank you for viewing.
