ORIGINAL PRODUCTION CEL HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS 1966 CHUCK JONES SIGNED

Make it yours in time for Christmas! Here is an ORIGINAL PRODUCTION CEL used in the filming of the 1966 CBS-TV Chuck Jones/Dr. Seuss animated classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The piece is hand signed by Chuck Jones. This thrilling, one-of-a-kind production cel comes framed behind plexiglass and features a pivotal, iconic moment:
Max, the Grinch's dog and unwilling partner in crime, swings from the reins while the Grinch's package-laden sleigh teeters precariously from a mountain peak as clumps of snow descend.
This is NOT a limited edition. In the pre-digital era it took approximately 24 frames (cels) to create one second of animation. This cel was used in creating for the film the precise moment you see in the image.
The (flat) background elements--mountain peak and pink sky--were expertly re-created in the 90's, by Linda Jones Enterprises, to complete the famous scene. Linda Jones is the daughter of animator Chuck Jones.
Certificate: The piece has a Linda Jones Ent. Inc. holographic label with serial number and the Certificate of Authenticity. I am the original owner.
