This is an excellent example of a WW1 French adriene helmet with Engineer helmet badge. The photos tell the whole story. The paint on the helmet is clear and vibrant. Actually, the paint is in excellent condition with little to no paint wear at all. One very small ding to the side as shown but otherwise just the typical scuffs and scratches of an issued and used helmet. The liner and chinstrap are present and in sound condition. The liner is masterfully restored with original materials. A very nice helmet. You would have to look far and wide to upgrade to a better helmet.
